Such changes will be introduced into the Labor Code adopted by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On introducing changes and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on social security issues" from July 1.
According to the Labor Code, a five-day or six-day work week is provided, as well as a part-time work week (the number of days of the week and its duration are determined by mutual agreement of both parties).

The total duration of overtime work should not exceed twelve hours per month - in a four-day, five-day and six-day work week and one hundred and twenty hours per year when determining the total calculation of working hours.
Accordingly, Article 84 establishes days off in the four-day working regime.
In a five-day, six-day, or four-day work week, the general day off is Sunday. The second or third day of rest in a five-day and (or) four-day working week is established in the collective agreement or labor regulations.
According to lawyers, it is possible to use a work regime such as one week of work with a five-day work week and another week with a four-day work week. This practice applies to office workers and complies with international labor standards.
