For the first time, Russia provides financial assistance to Russian theaters in Kazakhstan. Alla Manilova, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, said about this, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
The list includes Akmola Regional Russian Drama Theater, Karaganda Regional Drama Theater named after K. Stanislavsky and Republican Drama Theater named after M. Lermontov.
"This year, thanks to the president's decision, we will provide direct financial support to Russian theaters in the CIS countries," said Manilova at the meeting of the commission on cooperation between the Federation Council and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The deputy head of the department noted that five million rubles (27 million tenge) will be allocated to each institution for the purchase of the most modern sound theater equipment.
