A monument-bust of Zamanbek Nurkadilov was unveiled in the Almaty region

In the center of the Kegen district of Almaty region, a ceremonial opening of a monument-bust dedicated to the statesman and public figure Zamanbek Nurkadilov took place. This was reported by the regional administration’s press service on December 2, according to Adyrna.

“This event was carried out within the framework of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s directive. Additionally, the Children’s Art School in the village of Kegen was named after Zamanbek Nurkadilov,” the statement read.

The unveiling ceremony was organized on the grounds of the Art School named after Zamanbek Nurkadilov. The event was attended by statesmen, public figures, poets, writers, prominent personalities, and members of Nurkadilov’s family. The monument was unveiled by Deputy Akim of the region Nurzhan Kudaibergenov, public figures Tokkozha Estenov and Bolat Nurgaziev, and Nurkadilov’s son, Kairat Nurkadilov.

In his speech, the Deputy Akim highlighted the significant contributions of the statesman to the country’s development and noted that his achievements would remain forever in the nation’s history.

“This monument is a testament to the people’s genuine respect for the statesman. As a patriot, Zamanbek Nurkadilov made a substantial contribution to strengthening the country’s independence. It is our shared duty to preserve and pass on the legacy of such individuals to future generations. We also express our gratitude to the authors of this 4.5-meter-high creation, Aidos Burkitbayev and Timur Nurmukhametov,” he said.
