The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued a statement in connection with the escalation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
The statement reads: "The Republic of Kazakhstan is deeply concerned about the escalation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh on September 27, 2020.
We call on the friendly Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia to take all measures to stabilize the situation, to refrain from the use of force and to resolve the issue through negotiations.
We are ready to help international organizations find a peaceful solution to the conflict. As the current chairman of the CICA, we propose to use the package of confidence-building measures of the council, "the statement reads.
