The Israeli airline El Al has suspended all flights to Moscow following the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines flight bound for Chechnya, reports “Adyrna” national portal, citing Orda.kz.
According to the information, Russia may have been directly involved in the crash of the plane near Aktau. As a result, El Al announced its decision to halt flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow. This decision was made after the aircraft flying from Baku to Grozny crashed.
It is worth noting that Reuters, citing four sources familiar with the investigation in Azerbaijan, reported that the plane was allegedly shot down by Russia’s “Pantsir-S” air defense system.
