The President congratulated Aliya Yusupova on her re-election as President of the Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation.
The meeting discussed the prospects for developing rhythmic gymnastics in the country. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed on the current activities and future plans of the Federation.
Aliya Yusupova presented several proposals regarding some pressing issues in the sports sector. According to the Federation head, comprehensive efforts are needed to introduce children to gymnastics from an early age.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the need to establish close cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in developing sports infrastructure and training coaches.
