In the city of Talgar, Almaty Region, the home of a 16-year-old teenager, Sherzat Bolat, who was killed by a group of assailants, was completely burned down, according to the “Adyrna” national portal.
The house burned down on the night leading up to Saturday. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it is being determined if there were any casualties.
The Almaty Region Police Department confirmed the fire incident. “The police have initiated a criminal case regarding the deliberate destruction of another’s property,” the department stated.
As part of the investigation, witnesses have been questioned, and footage from surveillance cameras is being examined. “Currently, all details of the incident and possible motives are being determined,” the statement added.
It is worth noting that the death of 16-year-old Sherzat Bolat, who was killed in Talgar following a fight over beer, has caused a public outcry.
