Maria Brovkova from Kazakhstan won a bronze medal at the world championship in single canoeing held in Samarkand, reported the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
"Maria Brovkova became a bronze medalist at the World Non-Olympic Distance Championship held in Samarkand," the report said.
As it is known, Brovkova took the third place in single canoe rowing at a distance of 500 m. Ukrainian canoeist Lyudmila Luzan took first place, and Chilean Maria Maillard took silver.
