Today is the Day of National Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On June 4, 1992, the new state symbols of Kazakhstan were approved for the first time. Therefore, this day will forever be remembered as a famous day in the history of the country.
State symbols are symbolic signs that express the independence of the state. National symbols are the Blue Flag, the Coat of Arms and the National Anthem.
The Constitutional Law "On State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was adopted on June 4, 2007. According to this Law, every year June 4 is celebrated as National Symbols Day in Kazakhstan.
State symbols are especially valued as a symbol of independence, and they are given a high status. Therefore, it is the duty of citizens of the republic to respect state symbols.
