A new order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the rules of employment of teachers has been registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now the recruitment of teachers will be carried out in a new format on a competitive basis and according to specific criteria. This was reported by Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov, Adyrna correspondent reports.
"These changes are aimed at ensuring transparency in the employment of teachers, eliminating the risk of corruption and ensuring the principles of meritocracy in recruitment.
Previously, there were no clear rules, ie the school principal decided who to hire and on what criteria.
In some areas, three or four teachers were hired at the same rate due to incorrect allocation of hours. It is not difficult to predict the reasons for such situations.
From now on, educational organizations will hold competitions for all vacant or temporarily vacant positions. This does not apply to small schools.
Teachers who meet the qualifications will take part in the competition, "he said.
