On December 12, the XIV Republican Conference of the Hockey Federation of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan. This was reported by the press service of the KHF, Adyrna correspondent reports.
It was attended by members of the Executive Committee, heads of regional branches, hockey clubs and CYSS.
The report of the President of the FEF on the work for 2016-2021, the charter and regulations of the Federation, the staff structure were considered, the election of management and control bodies was held. By the unanimous decision of the conference participants, Askar Mamin was re-elected President of the Hockey Federation of Kazakhstan.
In his speech, Mamin noted that currently the team of Kazakhstan has risen from 19th to 13th place in the world rankings among men. During this time, Kazakhstan's national teams have participated in 19 world championships, the Asian Winter Games, two World Winter Universiades, Olympic qualifying tournaments and won 14 sets of medals.
The President of the FEF noted the high pace of development of hockey leagues, including youth, women's and amateur leagues, increased competition for the championship title and the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
