The National Bank of Kazakhstan issues 20,000 tenge commemorative banknotes dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank, Adyrna correspondent reports.
The design of the anniversary banknote was made according to a unique technology: the banknote is placed vertically and has a holographic image of the face value, the logo dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence and the head of state K.K. The demineralized strip containing Tokayev's facsimile was used for the first time in the world.
The anniversary banknote has 27 security features. The design of the banknote is made in the same style as the banknotes in circulation: the front side is mostly vertical, the outside is horizontal. The banknote is made in the predominant color - gray. The size of the banknote is 155x79 mm.

The main images on the front are the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Leader of the Nation NA Holographic image of the portrait of Nazarbayev, the monument "Kazakh Eli" as a symbol of independence and statehood of Kazakhstan, the grand gate "Eternal Country", a fragment of the Kazakh national pattern on the ribbon "Baskur" on the line of decoration of the traditional Kazakh house "Yurt".
The outside of the banknote

Anniversary banknote with a face value of 20,000 tenge must be accepted throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments at face value, as well as transferred, shredded and exchanged in bank accounts in all banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We remind you that the first anniversary banknote with a portrait of the President with a face value of 10,000 tenge was issued in 2016 and was timed to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At present, 200, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000 tenge banknotes are in circulation in Kazakhstan.
