An account with an official verification badge for Adolf Hitler appeared on the social media platform X, reports the national portal Adyrna.
The profile description stated, “I have returned to make Germany great again.”
After some time, the platform’s moderators blocked the account.
It was later revealed that hackers had taken over the account, which actually belonged to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The account has now been restored to the politician.
