The burned home of 16-year-old Sherzat Bolat, who was murdered in Talgar, was found to contain a gasoline canister and rubber gloves, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal. Police currently have no concrete suspects related to the fire.
“We are actively investigating the cause of the fire in the victims’ home. Key evidence has been collected from the scene, and more than 600 individuals have been questioned. Several forensic examinations have been ordered to help determine exactly what happened. Initial findings by experts suggest that the fire may have started outside the house, possibly due to an external ignition source,” said Berik Adamov, the prosecutor of the Almaty region.
Experts are now examining the canister and rubber gloves found at the scene, and the extent of the damage is also being assessed.
On October 4, 16-year-old Sherzat Bolat, a tenth-grade student, was brutally murdered in Talgar. In the early hours of October 12, the family home of the slain teenager in the village of Azat burned down. The family is now under guard, and Talgar is currently being patrolled by the National Guard. Sherzat’s father, Karzhaubai Nurymov, expressed his loss of faith in finding justice and mentioned that he wishes to move his family out of the Almaty region.
