In Germany, a ferris wheel caught fire during the festival, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The Red Flame took place at the Highfield Festival in the country's Stermtal Lake. At around nine in the evening, when the attraction was turned on, one cabin caught fire. The red fire spread to the second cabin and people began to panic. At the time of the fire, the ferris wheel was full of people.
"We smelled burnt plastic, but we didn't think it came from a nearby cabin," said a festival-goer.
Four people suffered severe burns as a result of the fire. And 2 people fell from the cabin when the fire broke out and were injured. In addition, 18 people suffered from carbon dioxide poisoning.
It should be noted that on June 24, a young mother fell from an attraction at the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after Gorky in Almaty and died.
