The Russian authorities have opened a criminal case against a man who made a statement that "Astrakhan is the land of the Kazakhs", the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
He is suspected of publicly calling the people of Kazakhstan to terrorism and calling for terrorist acts on the territory of Russia.
"A criminal case was initiated against Sergey T.، a resident of the Astrakhan region, under Article 205.2, Part 2 (propaganda of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Russia," the report says.
Before that, the man had sent a video appeal to the people of Kazakhstan through social networks.
"Astrakhan is an ancient Kazakh land. Use this opportunity to liberate it from Putin's fascist rule," he said.
