In Atyrau, a newly built three-story center in Leskhoz sub-district receives homeless people. "Ak Zhaiyk" publication wrote about it, "Adyrna" national portal reported.
"All conditions are provided for the residents of the building. There is an elevator, a shower, a lounge, and furnished rooms. Previously, the center for the homeless was located in a one-story building built in 1977. In 2010, the building was declared dangerous and demolished last year.
The new center has 70 seats. On the first floor there are rooms where people can spend the night. The staff of the center will provide them with a set of bedding and, if necessary, clean clothes. They can wash and have tea," the local publication wrote.
