On the territory of Zhambyl region, large-scale local inspections were carried out on holidays and weekends within the framework of the "Avtomobil" republican emergency-preventive event.
The main goal of the event is to intensify the work on road safety prevention, prevention of violations of traffic rules, including violations by public transport drivers, improvement of traffic order of vehicles on the road and control of compliance with traffic rules.
More than 500 police officers and 155 official vehicles were mobilized for the event. Police officers increased traffic control. Employees of the regional patrol police battalion also carried out raid inspections on highways of republican importance. "Drone" flying machine helped to identify drivers who violated traffic rules. The purpose of drones is to detect serious violations of traffic rules, often to determine the data of exiting the opposite traffic lane.
