The Commission has reviewed 1059 applications, and 94 Almaty residents have approved a grant for the development of their business.
In Almaty, a plan to provide 375 grants for the total amount of 517.5 millions tenge to city residents for the implementation of business ideas was approved. This was said by Sagindyk Kenzhebayev, director of the Almaty City Employment Center, at the site of the Regional Communications Service, "Adyrna" portal reported.
So far, the commission has reviewed 1,059 applications, among which 94 Almaty citizens were approved for a grant for the development of their business, and the remaining 965 were rejected.
"The state grant in the amount of 400 times the monthly calculation index (1,380,000 tenge) is the initial capital provided on a non-refundable basis for opening and developing a new business," said Sagindyk Kenzhebaev.
The director of the Almaty Employment Center explained that the grant can be given only for the purchase of the necessary equipment, tools, technological equipment, livestock, property, birds, seedlings, bushes, seeds and for the payment of the rent of the premises.
Grants are not given for consumer purposes, repayment of credit debts, purchase and mortgage of real estate, purchase of land and production of excise goods. In addition, the state allocates initial capital for business implementation only to citizens from socially vulnerable groups of the population.
