Gulnar ZHANYSBEKOVA, head of the Working Group of the Shymkent Regional Commission for Full Acquittal of the Victims of Political Repression, head of the "Spiritual Revival and ANC" Center of M.Auezov Educational Institution, candidate of historical sciences, stated this.
The campaign will be held from April 1 to 30. During the campaign, the memories of the victims of persecution and their descendants, the testimonies of the witnesses and the older generation who were born in 1930-1950 and can remember the tragedy of their parents will be collected.
In particular, the memoirs are about different categories of victims of persecution:
rich, kulaks;
participants in the popular uprising;
Forced refugees from Kazakhstan;
Gulag camp prisoners;
prisoners of war;
exiles;
special settlers;
representatives of the religious services and others invite the descendants of the victims of Red persecution to tell the story of their ancestors. Memories will be included in the collection "Memory of the People" published in Astana. 1930-50 years, who could tell his memory more fully, had a lot of sequence of events in his memory and was able to save documentary materials. The memories of the older generations who came to life will be recorded on videotape.
