On the eve of the presidential election, the public movement "BAQYLA" created by the citizens of the country on the basis of a public initiative, carried out surveillance in the regional headquarters including polling stations to ensure domestic stability and strict observance of election procedures in the elections of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maslikhats held on March 19, 2023.
The work of the network of territorial observers was carried out through the Central Headquarters in Almaty and regional headquarters located in 17 cities of the country.
The public movement successfully monitored the voting process in 27 cities in the 2022 extraordinary presidential election.
And in this year's elections of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maslikhats, the public movement "BAQYLA" intervened in the control of the election process and managed to cover 25 cities and towns across the republic. In addition, more than 5 thousand observers were trained.
On the election day, we can say that we covered 3,000 polling stations in the country, that is, 30 percent.
In this regard, on March 20, 2023, the initiators of the "BAQYLA" PF will hold a special press conference in Almaty.
