In Zhambyl region, the remains of a soldier lost during an explosion in a military warehouse were found, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The commander of the fire department, Junior Sergeant Baurzhan Davitbaev, was looking for him since August 26 last year. The remains of bones were found by the servicemen of the department during the search.
"Molecular-genetic examination showed that it belongs to Baurzhan Davitbaev. DNA analyzes of the bones of the missing serviceman and blood relatives completely matched," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The family of the deceased will be paid one-time compensation in the amount of five years' cash for funeral expenses and position.
Let's remind that in August last year there were explosions in the ammunition warehouse in the military unit in Zhambyl region. 18 people died.
