Activists who demanded to leave the CSTO rioted in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The rally was organized by "National Democratic Pole" and "European" party. The organizers are urging the citizens of the country to go to a mass rally, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The Secretary of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, said in an interview with "Azatutun" radio that they relied on the CSTO, but their trust was not justified. He accused the CSTO of withdrawing the Azerbaijani army from the legal territory of Armenia and not protecting its integrity.
The organizers of the rally believe that it is necessary to leave the CSTO and create another organization in order to strengthen their national security.
