Winners and prize-winners of debate tournaments will receive significant cash prizes and educational grants. This year, 6 universities of Kazakhstan awarded educational grants to 12 debating graduates. The press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reports, the national portal Adyrna reports.
12 winners of the debate tournament received grants to study at Korkyt Ata University, S. Amanzholov EKU, H. Dosmukhametov Atyrau University, Turan University, Satbayev University and Narkhoz University. In addition, they will be awarded diplomas, trophies and cash prizes from 200 thousand to 500 thousand tenge for participation in tournaments.
The Ministry of Education and Science is actively working to promote the debate. Today there are 6,778 debate clubs in the country, covering 120,944 people. Among them are schoolchildren and students.
