The emergency department of Almaty city announced that the heirs of the deceased employee Arslan Kurmanbekov would be paid one-time compensation in the amount of 13 millions tenge for sixty months (5 years), the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
In addition, 600,000 tenge compensation will be paid for funeral expenses.
"All expenses for the funeral were organized by the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Almaty. The Ministry of Internal Affairs submitted a proposal to the Presidential Administration to award the firefighter A.Zh.Kurmanbekov, who was killed in the line of duty, with a state award.
"At the same time, a request was sent to Almaty city administration to consider the possibility of allocating housing to A. Kurmanbekov's mother in the order of social assistance," the department wrote.
According to the message issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other issues of providing additional assistance are being worked out.
