Employees of the emergency medical service station are passing a large-scale certification on preparation for the possible second wave of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
According to the city health department, it is planned to conduct certification of 900 medical professionals.
"Today, in order to improve the skills of medical workers, we conduct a mass certification of employees of the ambulance station. That is, they are trained to provide first aid and identify four degrees of patients (mild, medium without additional disease, medium with additional disease and severe form of the disease). This certification is very important. Because it allows us to determine the qualifications of specialists and assess the progress of their further development," - says Bakhytzhan Pozilov, head of the Health Department of Shymkent.
He also noted that these measures are especially necessary for the specialists of ambulance workers who serve at the forefront in the fight against epidemics.
It should be mentioned that the certification of advanced training is held simultaneously at nine ambulance stations.
