The KazAtomExpo international exhibition dedicated to nuclear technologies and atomic energy has opened in Astana, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to gov.kz.
The event took place today. Within the framework of the meeting, the participants were introduced to the achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of nuclear energy and science, as well as the opportunities of the country in this field. The exhibition also demonstrated the scientific and personnel potential of Kazakhstan's leading universities that train specialists in the nuclear field.
A feature of the KazAtomExpo-2024 exhibition was the participation of the world's leading companies, which are considered as suppliers of technologies for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan. Among them are China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Corporation (KHNP), Électricité de France (EDF), as well as the Russian state corporation Rosatom. These companies presented their innovative developments, shared their experiences and plans for the development of nuclear energy.
