Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented the President of Uzbekistan with the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the "Altyn Kyran" order. Akorda announced this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The head of state said that he recognized and respected Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Kazakhstan as a real leader of the Uzbek country, an international politician, an outstanding statesman who made an immeasurable contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.
"During the years of development as an independent country, comprehensive partnership and strategic alliance have been established between the two states. A solid contractual and legal framework has been formed. We have completely crossed the border. Thanks to the mutually reliable political dialogue, we are intensively promoting trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ties. We have established close cooperation within the main international structures. In a word, the current Kazakh-Uzbek relations are exemplary and at a real brotherly level," said the President.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the brotherly Kazakh people for awarding him with the highest state award of Kazakhstan.
"I consider this award to be a worthy recognition of our joint efforts to increase the centuries-long true friendly and neighborly relations between the two peoples. "Kazakhstan is our closest, reliable and time-tested partner," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
