Akan Rakhmetullin was appointed to the post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Akorda announced this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"By order of the head of state, Akan Akasuly Rakhmetullin was appointed to the position of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the report said.
He was dismissed from the position of permanent representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations by the Decree of the Head of State.
