Two people died from tick bites in Kyzylorda region

Residents of two districts in Kyzylorda region were bitten by ticks and they eventually died. Two residents infected with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever stopped breathing, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to 24kz, a 77-year-old man from Zhanakorgan district and a 51-year-old man from Shieli district were brought to the hospital. Their condition worsened and they died without treatment. They were diagnosed with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever.

"When each case is registered, personal areas, livestock farms and animals are disinfected within 12 hours. All people who came in contact are under the supervision of doctors for 14 days. In general, three months - May, June, July - the time when dangerous types of ticks are active. Therefore, residents of the region are advised to take precautions If you are bitten, please see a doctor immediately," said Aliya Abdikaymova, deputy head of the sanitary-epidemiological control department in Kyzylorda region.

Let us remind you that before that, a 37-year-old resident of Kyzlyzhar, who came from Thailand, contracted dengue fever from that country. According to the Ministry of Health, he is said to have contracted the infection through a mosquito bite.
