The retirement age for women is set at 60 years and six months next year, the national portal Adyrna reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Thus, in the future, women born in the second half of 1961 must apply for pension benefits by the end of 2021. Article 11 of the Law on Pensions in Kazakhstan, adopted in 2013, states that the retirement age for women will increase annually for 6 months and 10 years until 2027.
