A man died after being burned to 90 percent of his body

A man who burned 90% of his body during a wildfire in Karagandy region died in hospital, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to "Khabar 24".

According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Karagandy region, on September 17-18, 6 wildfires were extinguished in Aktogay, Karkaralinsk and Shet districts of Karagandy region.

"During the fire in Balkantau rural district of Karkaralinsk district, three residents of Egindibulak village, born in 1989, 1979 and 1973, were burnt and taken to hospital. They received 18, 28 and 90% thermal burns," the emergency department said.

As a result, a 48-year-old man died at the hospital with 90% burns. Two more victims are in hospital. Their condition is normal.

It's worth noting that more than 300 people and more than 90 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.

He reminded of the strict observance of safety measures when participating in firefighting in the Department of Emergency Situations of Karagandy region.
