Today, Sheikh Al-Azhar, His Highness Imam Ahmet Tayyip delivered a Friday sermon to the congregation at the Republican Main Mosque in the capital. The sermon touched on peace and unity, spiritual integrity of the Muslim community, and Islamic values. There was also Nazarbayev,former President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. "Islam is not a religion of terrorism. They are two different concepts like fire and water. Our noble religion urges the people of the world to live in peace and unity. Nation has no superiority over nation and man over man. All are servants of God. Therefore, invite the people around you to goodness, solidarity, and unity," said His Highness Imam Ahmet Tayyip.
