At the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) held in Dubai, UAE, renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen received the prestigious DIAFA award. The singer dedicated his award to his spiritual mentor, Bibigul Tulegenova, according to the national portal “Adyrna.”
“Our spiritual mentor, the mother and grandmother of millions working in the world of music, Bibigul Tulegenova, has turned 95. I decided to dedicate this victory in her honor. You all know how Bibigul apa has always supported me, giving her blessings before every performance or international competition in other countries. So, I want to dedicate this award to her for always keeping me in her prayers,” the renowned singer said.
He emphasized how his mentor has supported him since his youth.
“From a young age, I grew up inspired by your exceptional artistry. Thanks to your maternal guidance, mentorship, and blessings, I have been able to achieve some success,” Dimash Kudaibergen added.
It is worth noting that Dimash Kudaibergen received the prestigious DIAFA award in the United Arab Emirates.
