The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov instructed to pay compensation to the flood victims by the end of the week, reported the national portal "Adyrna" referring to the press service of the government.
"The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the issue of compensation for the damage caused to the citizens affected by the flood. To date, 3561 affected families have been paid about 1 billion tenge in the form of one-time compensation for their lost property in the amount of 100 MCI. Compensation will be paid to all victims by the end of this week," said a statement issued on Wednesday.
