Prime Minister Alikhan Smayilov met with representatives of medium-sized businesses, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
The meeting was attended by entrepreneurs of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent cities, NCP "Atameken", as well as ministers, deputy mayors and heads of the quasi-state sector responsible for the development of business initiatives and state support.
At the opening of the first session of the 8th Parliament elected in March, the Head of State noted that our country needed a "new wave" of entrepreneurs who could take responsibility for economic development.
"We have great expectations from medium-sized businesses. It should become the driving force and driver of the processing sector, which produces competitive products and provides a wide range of services," said Alikhan Smayilov.
