Denis Rypakov, the husband of Kazakh track and field athlete Olga Rypakova, was elected as the chairman of the maslikhat of the East Kazakhstan region, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
The 1st session of the eighth convened East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat was held on March 30.
"Chairman of the regional election commission, E. Nabiev, introduced the participants to the results of the regional maslikhat deputies' election, and presented deputies' certificates and badges.
During the session, the deputies elected Denis Sergeevich Rypakov as the chairman of the maslikhat, elected the members of the standing commissions and their chairmen," the report said.
Denis Sergeevich Rypakov was born on August 20, 1980 in Almaty.
He is a physical education teacher by profession, graduated from the Institute of Physical Education of the Kazakh State Academy of Sports and Tourism in 2001.
Has the honorary title of "Master of Sports in Athletics of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Athletics".
