Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is ready to hold negotiations with Putin in Kazakhstan. He said this in an interview with Fox News, reports “Adyrna.”
Zelensky named Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Austria, and Switzerland as possible venues for the meeting.
“We proposed holding the meeting in neutral countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and European states like Austria and Switzerland. We told him: ‘If you want to meet in a country like Kazakhstan, we are ready.’ That’s all there is to it,” Zelensky explained.
When the host asked him to clarify, Zelensky confirmed that he is ready to meet with the Russian leader. According to him, earlier Putin had mentioned Moscow as a possible venue for such a high-level meeting.
As a reminder, on September 23, during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
