A solemn meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kazakh Radio was held on October 1, 2021 in the Cinema and Concert Hall of "Kazmedia Center" in Nur-Sultan, Kazinform reports.
The event was held in accordance with the requirements of the relevant quarantine and in the format of television. Congratulatory letters of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Leader of the Nation NA Nazarbayev and the Head of State KK Tokayev were read at the meeting.
It should be noted that this year, on the initiative of the President, Kazakh Radio was established on October 1 as "Radio Day" and is celebrated for the first time today. In his congratulatory letter to the staff of Kazakh Radio, the President emphasized that the rich history and genealogy of our people were covered on air, and important events in the life of the country were quickly communicated to the public during difficult times.
