According to IRNA agency, a large engine oil factory was set on fire in the city of Shahid-Salimi in the East Azerbaijan province.
A military warehouse and ammunition production center were also blown up. Airplanes flew up in Tehran and government buildings were attacked.
Iran's Ministry of Defense confirmed that one of the ammunition production centers was attacked by drones.
"On the evening of January 28, 2023, at around 11:30 p.m., drones were unsuccessfully attacked one of the centers of the Ministry of Defense. One of them was hit by air defense, and the other two fell into a defensive trap and exploded," the report said.
The explosion happened not only in Isfahan, but also in the Iranian cities of Hamadan, Khoy, Garah, Tabriz and Keraj.
