The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not received any information from the competent authorities about the participation of citizens of Kazakhstan in the war in Ukraine. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aibek Smadiyarov, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"We have not received any information from the competent authorities of Ukraine about the participation or detention of citizens of Kazakhstan in the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, as you know, such actions are subject to criminal liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," said the representative of the ministry.
Let's remind that before that, a video appeared on the social network where a citizen who introduced himself as a Kazakh was caught by the Ukrainian military. However, this time there is no evidence that the prisoner in the video is Kazakh.
