Cultural recreation season opens in Turkestan

In Turkestan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a cultural recreation season is opening, which will be represented by a series of various cultural and sports events.

Here is the schedule of the most interesting events of the upcoming week:

Every weekend from October 5 to October 16, ethno-excursions "Dastur" will be held in the ethno village, during which professional guides will tell interesting facts, stories about the lifestyle of our ancestors.
Every weekend from October 15 to November 15, the cultural and business center will host open-air movie screenings. The organizers have collected a large collection of films from the golden fund of Kazakh cinema.
From October 11 to 16, the Olympic Center complex will host the 20th International Boxing Tournament among boys born in 2004-2005.
On October 14, the XXIII round of the Kazakhstan football championship will be held at the stadium "Turkestan Arena". Teams "Turan" and "Aksu" will meet on the field.
From October 14 to November 12, the Azret-Sultan complex will host a ceremony of taking out halim porridge - the revival of the tradition of taking food out to treat guests and residents of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi's khanaka. Guests of the event will also be told about the functioning of the mausoleum in ancient times.
From October 21 to October 30, a crafts fair will be held in the ethno village. 25 artisans from different regions of Kazakhstan will present their products.
From October 22 to November 12, the BasQosu Live project will be held at the Turkistan Arena and the Farab Library - informal lectures and master classes where successful individuals will share secrets and tips.
On October 23 at 18:00, a unique show will take place at the Karavansaray Turkistan complex - the festival of modern ethnic music The Spirit of Turkistan. The brightest representatives of the genre of traditional and modern ethnic music will meet in one of the most important spiritual centers of the Turkic world - Turkestan. Abbos (Uzbekistan), Gulzada (Kyrgyzstan), Sitora Nazarova (Tajikistan - Kazakhstan), Steppe Sons (Kazakhstan), Ashina (Kazakhstan) and DJ Edige (Kazakhstan) will perform on the same stage.
