Large-scale protests were held across the United States against the policies of President Donald Trump, Adyrna reports. The peaceful demonstrations took place under the slogan “No Kings”, attracting an estimated 7 million participants nationwide.

According to organizers, the protests became one of the largest single-day demonstrations in U.S. history, spanning over 2,700 cities and proceeding peacefully without any major incidents.

In Chicago, for instance, a rally organized by the Indivisible Chicago Alliance drew nearly 250,000 participants. Protesters voiced opposition to what they described as authoritarian tendencies in Trump’s leadership and emphasized that America belongs to the people, not to kings.

The No Kings movement made its presence felt across all U.S. states and in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. The first demonstrations began on June 14, coinciding with Donald Trump’s 79th birthday and a military parade held in his honor.

Ahead of the protests, Trump commented in an interview with Fox News, stating that he “does not consider himself a king” in response to criticism from opponents.
