The minimum subsistence level in our country has increased to 55,731 tenge. This was stated by the National Bureau of Statistics, "Adyrna" reporter reported.
In August, the three leaders in terms of the minimum subsistence level included the cities of Mangistau region (68,687 tenge), Almaty (60,595 tenge) and Astana (59,851 tenge). Among the outsiders are Turkestan (48,067 tenge), Kyzylorda (49,566 tenge) and Zhambyl regions (51,453 tenge).
In terms of sex, the minimum subsistence level for men is 65,250 tenge, and for women - 51,768 tenge. Also, the subsistence level of pensioners increased from 48,389 tenge in July to 51,227 tenge in August.
It should be noted that the republican budget plans to increase pensions from 2025. Basic pension payments will be increased and in 2025 the minimum basic pension will be 47,700 tenge, and by 2027 it will increase to 55,145 tenge.
