From September, all girls in the country will be vaccinated against the papilloma virus. The chief sanitary doctor Aizhan Esmagambetova said about this, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.

According to information, 350 thousand doses of vaccine were purchased for more than 9 billion tenge.
"This vaccine is a Belgian vaccine manufactured in the USA by GlaxoSmithKline. We are buying the quadrivalent Gardasil-4 vaccine, whose quality has been proven all over the world and is used in more than a hundred countries," answered Aizhan Esmagambetova outside the Mazhilis.

According to Aizhan Esmagambetova, the vaccine must be registered, not only Gardasil, every batch of any vaccine is regularly checked upon entering the country, all documents confirming its safety and quality are reviewed. He also noted that a minor reaction may occur after vaccination.

"Increased temperature, slight swelling will pass in a short time, so, as a rule, even if swelling appears at the injection site, this is not a reason to dismiss the school," clarified the head doctor.

Based on the data, this vaccine allows to reduce the pathological disease among women by 90%. Vaccination is carried out in 2 stages with an interval of 6 months.

According to the Ministry of Health, cervical cancer can be prevented by vaccination. According to statistics, every year in Kazakhstan, about 2,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer, and about 600 women die. In addition, among women, cervical cancer is second only to breast cancer.
