It has been a month since Majilis started working after the disputed elections. In the meantime, the surprise action of the deputies prevailed over the opinion that "the election was held unfairly".

Before the Majilis began its work, one of the prominent deputies was Ardak Nazarov. The citizen who was elected from Almaty region under the majority election system did not answer the journalists' questions and came under criticism. Later, after the journalists complained to Majilis chairman Yerlan Koshanov about the "order" of the said deputy, Ardak Nazarov was silenced.
