Over 70 million American citizens have voted early for the November 5 U.S. election, reports the national portal “Adyrna,” citing TASS. This data was released by the University of Florida.

According to reports, 70,053,286 people in the U.S. have used the option to vote early. Of these, more than 37.4 million voted in person at polling stations, while nearly 32.6 million voted by mail.

The U.S. has approximately 168 million registered voters. The states with the highest early voting numbers are Texas (7.9 million), Florida (7.3 million), and California (6 million).

On October 28, 2024, it was reported that current U.S. President Joe Biden also voted early. According to foreign media, he waited in line for about 40 minutes before casting his ballot.

The upcoming general election in the U.S. will take place on November 5. The presidential candidates are Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. Trump served as the 45th President of the U.S. from 2017 to 2021, while Harris currently serves as Vice President.

It’s worth noting that President Joe Biden cast his ballot in advance of the election.
