On October 13, Israeli forces attacked a peacekeeping base in Lebanon, destroying the main gate with a tank, resulting in 15 soldiers being injured. Today, the Ministry of Defense commented on the condition of Kazakh peacekeepers, as reported by “Adyrna.”
The ministry stated that the escalating situation is far from the positions of Kazakh peacekeepers. According to them, the Kazakh peacekeepers, consisting of three staff officers, are continuing their duties as usual.
“In case the situation worsens, the evacuation of Kazakh military personnel will be decided in coordination with the UN Secretariat and the mission leadership,” said the ministry’s official representative, Ruslan Zhanulin.
Previously, Israeli forces had launched missile attacks on Hezbollah’s infrastructure targets in Beirut.
