Paris Olympic bronze medalist and two-time world champion Nazym Kyzaibay has been appointed as the captain of Kazakhstan’s women’s boxing team, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal.
During a training camp for the Kazakhstan women’s boxing team in the Turkestan Region, a meeting was held with coaches and boxers to select the team captain. With the majority vote from the athletes, Paris Olympic bronze medalist and two-time world champion Nazym Kyzaibay was chosen as the captain of the team.
The women boxers are currently preparing for the Asian Championships, which will take place from November 30 to December 11 in Jordan.
