Due to adverse weather conditions, the Astana–Kokshetau highway has been closed, reports the “Adyrna” national portal. As a result, 600 passengers on a train are being evacuated.
The press service of “Passenger Transportation” JSC stated:
“On October 12, 2024, 13 additional carriages were added to trains No. 327/328 and No. 623/624 running on the Astana–Kokshetau–Astana route. This allows the transportation of approximately 600 passengers.”
The national carrier also announced that passenger transportation is being closely monitored during these unfavorable weather conditions. Employees of the national carrier are currently ensuring the continuous movement of trains.
